The village of Kei Mouth is popular with anglers as it lies on the banks of the Great Kei River and offers endless opportunities for "the perfect catch". For those feeling a little more adventurous, there is always deep sea fishing. Or try river rafting down the rapids. Visitors can cross the river by pontoon-ferry and the opposite bank offers a number of exciting 4x4 trails.
Kei Mouth also boasts an 18-hole golf course complete with welcoming clubhouse and a fantastic view of the ocean. Rock climbing and abseiling are at hand for those willing to try something new, and a horseback ride on the beach at sunset is the perfect way to end a day spent exploring the quaint village of Kei Mouth.
