The Southern Drakensberg area is one of outstanding natural beauty that stretches along the Lesotho border from the Giant's Castle area through the Garden Castle State Forest and along the Eastern Cape border. The southern Drakensberg is part of the magnificent Drakensberg Mountain Range that extends from the Eastern Cape as far as the Kruger National Park in the North. For the not so active there are many other pastimes, from bowls to golf, from tennis to canoeing. This is a wonderful retreat that is just over two hours drive from Durban.
